The heart shape symbolizes love, and this decoration includes two intertwined hearts. It is made from Purpleheart, a dense and heavy wood from Central and South America. Purple is its natural color; it is not stained, painted, or dyed.
The heart decoration measures 7 1/2 inches high by 6 3/4 wide and 3/4 thick. I finished it with a spray polyurethane to bring out the grain and color of the wood and to preserve it for many years of home display.
