Because it is made of wood, you don't have to worry about knocking this vase over and breaking it. The floral design is cut into the front using a scroll saw before adding the middle and back. You can't add water to the vase, but it can be used for dried flowers or to hold flowers that don't need water.
The vase is cut from red oak and measures 5 3/4 inches wide by 7 1/8 high and 1 3/8 thick. The front and back are each 1/4 inch thick, the middle just over 3/4. The inside depth is 5 1/2 inches.
