Do you play guitar, know someone who does, or enjoy guitar music? This would be a great display item in a music room, man cave, or just about anywhere you want to make your love of guitar music known. I have and play four different guitars myself, so I had to go ahead and make several of these displays soon after I found the pattern.
• I cut the guitar and treble clef by hand on a scroll saw from ¼ inch-thick oak
• The backer is ½” thick sapele, a wood in the mahogany family but with a slightly darker tone
• The display with stand is 10 ¼” high, 6 ¼” wide, and 3 ½” deep
• The wall hanging version is 9 ¾” high, 6 ¼” wide, and ¾” deep
• Finish is spray shellac to bring out the beauty of the wood grain and to preserve the wood for many years
