My first two cars were both Volkswagens. I put a lot of miles on those two vehicles, and they still hold a special place in my heart. Perhaps that explains why I just had to make this VW car carrier when I came across the plans. The wheels of the cars fit in little grooves on the side of the car carrier, so the cars will stay in place while the truck is rolled around. It was fun to make, and should provide a lot of fun for any child that loves playing with vehicles with wheels (and what child doesn’t?)
• The combination if tractor and trailer is 12” long by 2 ¾” high and 2 ½” wide
• The truck itself is 5 ¾” long, 2 ¾” high, and 2 ½” wide • The trailer by itself is 8” long, 1 ½” high, and 2 ½” wide
• The VW van is 4” long, 2 1/8” high, and 2 ½” wide
• The VW bug is 3 ¾” long, 2” high, and 2 ½” wide
• The VW convertible is 3 7/8” long, 1 7/8” high, and 2 ½” wide
• Two people ( a boy and a girl) are included, and they are 2” high and ½” thick
